Responsible automation
Fair Use Policy
Automation should save legitimate work without harming people, systems, or the fair experience of other customers.
Organize the rules into visible, linked sections.
Read the full wording and ask about your situation.
1. Purpose
This Fair Use Policy forms part of the Automations For Business website and its Terms. It explains responsible use of accounts, automation work, browser actions, integrations, and shared service resources.
2. Normal, productive use
Fair use includes automating authorized, legitimate work such as data entry, document preparation, reporting, lead handling, internal notifications, content operations, website monitoring, and routine processes across tools you are permitted to use.
Workflows should run at frequencies that match a real business purpose and should include sensible limits, error handling, and human approval where consequences are important.
3. Responsible use of resources
You may not deliberately create infinite loops, repeated empty jobs, artificial traffic, or other activity designed mainly to consume system capacity. You may not use multiple accounts to avoid plan limits or enforcement. If a workflow places unusual demand on shared resources, we may ask you to adjust its schedule, apply a reasonable limit, or move it to a separately priced setup.
4. Prohibited activities
- Fraud, identity theft, deceptive impersonation, or illegal financial activity.
- Spam, mass unsolicited messaging, harassment, stalking, threats, or discriminatory abuse.
- Credential stuffing, brute-force attempts, vulnerability scanning, bypassing access controls, or unauthorized system access.
- Malware, destructive code, traffic interception, or actions intended to disrupt a service.
- Collecting, selling, or profiling personal information without a lawful basis and required permission.
- Automating content or conduct that violates law or another person’s rights.
- Reselling account access or presenting Automations For Business’s service as your own platform without written permission.
5. Third-party websites and data
You are responsible for confirming that a browser action, API use, data source, or connected account is authorized and complies with the third party’s terms, robots directives where applicable, privacy rules, and law. Automations For Business’s ability to build a workflow does not itself grant permission to access a third-party service.
6. Reviews and account integrity
Verified reviews must describe a genuine customer experience and must not include unlawful, abusive, confidential, or misleading content. Do not share passwords or allow unrelated people to act through your account. We may remove content or restrict accounts that undermine the trust or security of the Service.
7. How we respond to misuse
Depending on severity, we may contact you for clarification, pause a workflow, reduce its run frequency, remove harmful content, restrict an account, or terminate access. We will normally explain the issue and allow correction, except when immediate action is needed to protect people, data, infrastructure, or legal compliance.
8. Reporting a concern
To report suspected misuse, contact contact@automationsforbusiness.com with the subject “Automations For Business abuse report.” Include the relevant account, workflow, page, and supporting details where possible.
