Your information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Automations For Business collects, why we use it, and the choices available to customers and website visitors.
Organize the rules into visible, linked sections.
Read the full wording and ask about your situation.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Automations For Business website, customer accounts, verified reviews, automation projects, and support conversations (the “Service”). It does not replace the privacy rules of third-party apps or websites connected to a customer’s workflow.
2. Information you provide
When you create an account, we collect your first and last name, email address, acceptance of our policies, and a securely hashed version of your password. We do not store your readable password.
When you contact us or request automation work, we may receive messages, business requirements, files, tool names, workflow details, and other information you choose to share. A verified review includes your account name, review subject and text, four ratings, and submission time. Your review email is kept private.
If you use a referral link or join the referral program, we record the referral code, attribution date, link visits, referred account, project and payment status, commission rate, amounts owed or paid, and related timestamps. We do not publish a referred client's full account details to a referrer.
3. Website and technical information
The website keeps an aggregate daily visit count so the team can understand interest in the Service. Our hosting and security providers may also process standard technical information such as IP address, browser details, request time, pages requested, and security events to deliver and protect the website.
4. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and maintain accounts and sessions.
- Plan, build, support, and improve customer-requested automations.
- Display verified reviews without publishing the reviewer’s email.
- Respond to support questions through email.
- Detect abuse, investigate errors, and comply with legal obligations.
- Understand aggregate website use and improve the customer experience.
- Attribute eligible referrals, calculate commission, prevent duplicate or self-referrals, and maintain payout records.
We do not use customer workflow content to train a public AI model unless we first obtain clear permission.
5. Cookies and local preferences
We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep signed-in customers authenticated for up to 30 days. The site may also store your light or dark theme preference in your browser. A referral link may set a secure, HTTP-only referral cookie for up to 90 days so the introduction can be connected if you create an account. Once connected to an account, the referral remains recorded until the first eligible project payment or until the record must be removed for a legal or policy reason. You can clear cookies through browser settings, but removing the session cookie signs you out.
6. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, communications, or specialist providers only when needed to operate or support the Service. We may also disclose information when required by valid law, to protect customers or the public, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
ServerBD hosts the website and database and may process technical and account data on our behalf under its own service terms.
7. Data retention
Account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, legal, or support purposes. Active sign-in sessions expire after 30 days. Verified reviews remain until removed by Automations For Business or following a valid request. Aggregate visit counts may be retained for trend analysis.
Referral, project, payment, and commission records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal obligations, even after an account is closed. Public profile information and sign-in access can still be removed or anonymized.
When you ask us to delete an account, we will remove or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period unless law, fraud prevention, payment records, or an active dispute requires longer retention.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections, password hashing with unique salts, secure session cookies, access controls, and reasonable monitoring to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect account misuse.
9. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. When this happens, we rely on the provider’s contractual and security protections and applicable data-transfer requirements.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may ask to access, correct, export, object to certain uses of, or delete your personal information. You may also ask for a review to be corrected or removed. Contact support with enough information for us to verify the request. We aim to respond within 30 days where practical or within the period required by applicable law.
11. Children
The Service is intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
12. Policy changes
We may update this policy when our Service, providers, or legal duties change. We will update the date on this page and may provide an additional notice for material changes.
